Daniel Frederick Grant (February 21, 1946 – October 14, 2019) was a Canadian professional ice hockey left winger who played parts of fourteen seasons in the National Hockey League from 1966 to 1979 for the Montreal Canadiens, Minnesota North Stars, Detroit Red Wings, and Los Angeles Kings. He won the Stanley Cup with Montreal in 1968 and the Calder Memorial Trophy as the league's top rookie in 1968–69 with Minnesota. He recorded 263 goals and 535 points in his career and appeared in three All-Star Games. His best season came with Detroit in 1974–75, when he scored 50 goals. He was inducted into the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame in 1985.
