Darold Duane Knowles (born December 9, 1941, Brunswick, Missouri) was a left-handed relief pitcher who played in Major League Baseball from 1965 through 1980. He is best known as a member of the Oakland Athletics teams that won three consecutive World Series championships from 1972 to 1974. During the 1973 World Series, Knowles became the first pitcher in history to appear in all seven games of a single World Series. He also wore the uniforms of the Baltimore Orioles, Philadelphia Phillies, Washington Senators/Texas Rangers, Chicago Cubs, Montreal Expos, and St. Louis Cardinals over his 16-year career.
