Darrell Charles Dess (born July 11, 1935, New Castle, Pennsylvania) was an offensive lineman in the NFL from the late 1950s through the 1960s. He played college football at NC State, earning all-conference honors as a guard. Dess was selected by the Washington Redskins in the eleventh round of the 1958 NFL Draft and went on to play for the Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Giants, and Washington Redskins during his professional career.
