Darryl Sly

Darryl "Slip" Sly (April 3, 1939 – August 28, 2007) was a Canadian ice hockey player who appeared in 79 NHL games with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Vancouver Canucks, and Minnesota North Stars. He spent parts of eleven seasons with the Rochester Americans of the AHL and seven seasons in junior hockey with the Barrie Flyers of the OHA. Internationally, Sly represented Canada at the 1960 Winter Olympics, earning a silver medal, and at the 1961 World Championship, where Canada took gold.
