Dave Beverly

David Edward Beverly (born August 19, 1950) is a former American football punter who played seven seasons in the National Football League for the Houston Oilers and Green Bay Packers. He enrolled at Auburn University as a walk-on, earned three letters, and was named to the 1971 All-Southeastern Conference team. He played for the Houston Oilers in 1974, then served as the Green Bay Packers' starting punter from 1975 to 1980. He holds the Packers' career records for punts (495) and punting yards (18,785), as well as the single-season punts record (106).
