David Merle Dalby (October 19, 1950 – August 30, 2002) was a center who spent his entire 14-year NFL career with the Oakland and Los Angeles Raiders (1972–1985). Selected 100th overall in the 1972 NFL Draft out of UCLA, where he is a member of the All-Century team and the UCLA Hall of Fame, Dalby did not miss a single game across his career. In 1975, he took over as the Raiders' starting center from Hall of Famer Jim Otto. Before college, he led the La Serna Lancers of Whittier, California, to the 1967 California Scholastic Federation AAA football championship.
