Dave Goltz (born June 23, 1949, in Rothsay, Minnesota) was a right-handed pitcher who spent the bulk of his Major League career with the Minnesota Twins from 1972 to 1983. He signed with the Twins organization out of high school and served in the U.S. Army Reserves as a helicopter mechanic before resuming his minor league career. Called up to the majors in July 1972, he won his first start against the Milwaukee Brewers. In 1977, Goltz reached a career high of 20 wins for Minnesota, tying for the American League lead in victories that season.
