Delles Howell

Delles Howell was a defensive back in the National Football League from 1970 to 1975. He played college football at Grambling State and was selected by the New Orleans Saints in the fourth round (88th overall) of the 1970 NFL Draft. Standing 6'3" and 200 pounds, he spent his first three seasons with New Orleans before being traded, along with Richard Neal, to the New York Jets on January 29, 1973, in exchange for two 1973 draft picks. He played for the Jets through the 1975 season.
