Desmond Michael Patrick "Desse" Roche (February 1, 1909 – January 18, 1971) was a Canadian ice hockey player born in Kemptville, Ontario. He played four seasons in the NHL with the Montreal Maroons, Ottawa Senators, St. Louis Eagles, Montreal Canadiens, and Detroit Red Wings. Roche wore number 99, one of only six NHL players to do so. He scored the final goal in Ottawa Senators franchise history on March 17, 1934, tying the Maroons 2–2 in Montreal. His best season came in 1933–34, when he scored 14 goals. His brother Earl Roche also played in the NHL, and the two were teammates in Ottawa and St. Louis.
