Richard Anthony Drago (June 25, 1945 – November 2, 2023) was a right-handed relief pitcher who spent thirteen seasons in Major League Baseball. After being signed by the Detroit Tigers and selected by the Kansas City Royals in the 1968 expansion draft, Drago emerged as the ace of the Royals' staff in 1971, going 17–11 with a 2.98 ERA and finishing fifth in AL Cy Young Award voting. He later played for the Boston Red Sox, California Angels, Baltimore Orioles, and Seattle Mariners. Drago is notably the last pitcher to surrender a home run to Hank Aaron.
