Dick Evey

Richard Theodore Evey (February 13, 1941 – May 23, 2013) was a professional football offensive and defensive tackle in the NFL. The Chicago Bears selected him in the first round, 14th overall, of the 1964 NFL Draft, and he spent most of his career in Chicago before being traded to the Los Angeles Rams in September 1970. After football, Evey became a land developer in Blount County, Tennessee, where he was involved in restoring Perry's Mill, a working gristmill in Walland, Tennessee. He died on May 23, 2013, from dementia and primary progressive aphasia.
