Dick Westmoreland

Richard Carl Westmoreland (born February 17, 1941) played defensive back in the American Football League beginning in 1963 with the San Diego Chargers. He later played for the Miami Dolphins, spending seven seasons across both clubs. In 1967, Westmoreland earned AFL All-Star recognition and set the Dolphins' single-season interceptions record with 10, a mark that has since been tied but never surpassed.
