Nicholas Dominic Dallessandro (October 3, 1913 – April 29, 1988) was an outfielder in Major League Baseball who played between 1937 and 1947 for the Boston Red Sox and Chicago Cubs. A left-handed batter listed at 5 feet 6 inches, he joined the Cubs in 1940 and played five seasons with the club before entering military service in World War II. His best season came in 1944, when he batted .304 with 74 runs batted in. Over an eight-season career he hit .267 with 22 home runs and 303 runs batted in across 746 games.
