Donald William Bishop (July 1, 1934 - November 13, 1998) was an American football cornerback who played in the National Football League for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Chicago Bears, and Dallas Cowboys. The expansion Cowboys claimed him off waivers on September 6, 1960, and he became the franchise's first starting right cornerback, recording three interceptions in the 1960 inaugural season. In 1961 he had eight interceptions in 14 games, including six in the first five contests, trailing the league leader by one. Bishop played nine NFL seasons and left as the Cowboys' career interceptions leader with 22.
