Don Head was a Canadian ice hockey goaltender whose playing career ran from 1953 to 1971. He was the goaltender for the Canadian national team at the 1960 Winter Olympics, where Canada won the silver medal behind the United States. He played 38 games in the National Hockey League with the Boston Bruins during the 1961-62 season, winning 9 as the Bruins finished last in the league. The remainder of his career was spent in the senior Ontario Hockey Association and the Western Hockey League.
