Donald Andrew Tannahill, born February 21, 1949, in Penetanguishene, Ontario, was a left wing who played professional hockey from 1969 to 1978. Selected third overall by the Boston Bruins in the 1969 NHL Amateur Draft, he never suited up for Boston, instead appearing in 111 NHL games with the Vancouver Canucks and 222 WHA games with the Minnesota Fighting Saints and Calgary Cowboys, along with stints in several minor leagues across his career.
