Dorne Dibble (April 16, 1929 – March 1, 2018) was a wide receiver for the Detroit Lions from 1951 to 1957, missing the 1952 season for military service. Originally an All-American defensive end at Michigan State, he was Detroit's third-round pick in 1951 and converted to receiver. As a rookie he tied Doak Walker's franchise record with six touchdown receptions and averaged 20.4 yards per catch on 30 catches for 613 yards. He contributed to Lions NFL Championships in 1953 and 1957, and in 1954 ranked fifth in the league with 46 receptions for 768 yards. His career totals: 146 receptions, 2,552 yards, 17.5 yards per catch, 19 touchdowns.
