Douglas Robert Halward (born November 1, 1955, Toronto, Ontario) was a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who played 663 NHL games across five clubs: the Boston Bruins, Los Angeles Kings, Vancouver Canucks, Detroit Red Wings, and Edmonton Oilers. A product of the Peterborough Petes junior program, Halward contributed to two Stanley Cup Finals appearances — with Boston in 1977 and Vancouver in 1982. He first appeared on the national stage at the 1968 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament as a member of the Toronto Young Nationals.
