Dossier

Earl McCullouch (born January 10, 1946, in Clarksville, Texas) was a wide receiver in the NFL who played college football for the USC Trojans before being selected by the Detroit Lions in the first round of the 1968 NFL draft. A dual-sport athlete, McCullouch held the world record in the 110-meter high hurdles from July 1967 to July 1969. He also ran the start leg for USC's 4×110 yard relay team, which set a world record in 1967 that still stands, as the event has since been replaced by the metric 4×100 meter relay.
