Earl Hazwell Wooten (January 16, 1924 - August 12, 2006), nicknamed Junior, was an American professional baseball player who appeared in Major League Baseball as an outfielder for the Washington Senators. He played part of the 1947 season and all of 1948 with Washington. According to accounts of his career, he was denied a return for a third major league season after the Senators learned he had continued to play basketball with his mill team in violation of his baseball contract. His major league career was limited to those two seasons in the late 1940s.
