Ed Johnstone

Edward "Eddie" Johnstone (born March 2, 1954, Brandon, Manitoba) is a Canadian right wing who played parts of ten NHL seasons with the New York Rangers and Detroit Red Wings. He came up through the Western Canada Hockey League with the Medicine Hat Tigers, posting back-to-back 100-point seasons before being drafted 104th overall by the Rangers in 1974. He also appeared briefly in the WHA with the Michigan Stags. Johnstone reached the 1979 Stanley Cup Final with New York and was later traded to Detroit along with Ron Duguay and Eddie Mio.
