Edward Stanley "Eddie" Slowinski (November 18, 1922 – August 21, 1999) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. After working through junior and wartime amateur hockey in Winnipeg and Ottawa, he joined the New York Rangers for the 1947–48 season and remained with the club for the rest of his NHL career, appearing in 291 games between 1947 and 1953. In the 1949–50 Stanley Cup playoffs he led all players in assists as the Rangers pushed the Detroit Red Wings to a seventh game before losing in overtime. He never won the Cup.
