Ed Ulmer (July 21, 1940 – January 28, 2000) was a Canadian Football League defensive back and punter who played college football at Ohio State. He began his CFL career with the Ottawa Rough Riders in 1963, recording two interceptions in two games, before joining the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 1965. A versatile contributor, Ulmer handled defensive back duties, punting, and return work across nine CFL seasons. In 1966 he earned both a West All-Star and CFL All-Star selection at defensive back. He finished with 31 career interceptions, including a single-season best of nine, and retired after the 1971 season.
