Edd Hargett (born June 26, 1947) was a quarterback who played college football for the Texas A&M Aggies before entering the NFL. At Texas A&M, he passed for 5,379 yards across the 1966–68 seasons, a school record at the time, and directed the Aggies to the Southwest Conference championship in 1967 and a Cotton Bowl victory over Alabama. In the NFL he played for the New Orleans Saints and Houston Oilers, then appeared for the Shreveport Steamer of the World Football League.
