Edward Montgomery Jordan (born January 29, 1955) played college basketball at Rutgers University from 1973 to 1977, earning the nickname "Fast Eddie." He helped lead Rutgers to the 1976 NCAA Final Four, where he was named East Regional MVP, and finished his college career holding the school's all-time records in assists (585) and steals (220). Named honorable mention All-America as a senior, Jordan was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the second round of the 1977 NBA Draft. He later went on to coach in the NBA, serving as head coach of the Washington Wizards, Philadelphia 76ers, and Sacramento Kings.
