Eddie Mazur

Dossier
Edward Joseph "Spider" Mazur (1929–1995) was a Canadian ice hockey forward who played in the NHL with the Montreal Canadiens and Chicago Black Hawks from 1951 to 1956. He made an unusual entry into the league, appearing exclusively in playoff games before suiting up for a regular season contest — scoring four playoff goals before his first regular season game, a record in NHL history at the time. Mazur won the Stanley Cup with Montreal in 1953. The remainder of his career was spent in the minor leagues, spanning from 1948 to 1966.
