Edgar Thomas Chandler, Jr. (1946–1992) was a professional football linebacker who played six seasons in the AFL and NFL, spending the bulk of his career with the Buffalo Bills before finishing with the New England Patriots. A native of Cedartown, Georgia, Chandler played offensive right tackle at the University of Georgia from 1964 to 1967, earning All-American honors in both 1966 and 1967. Before college, he was a multi-sport standout at Cedartown High School, winning a Georgia state championship in the shot put and helping the Cedartown Bulldogs claim their first state football title.
