Edward Perry "Bud" Stewart (June 15, 1916 – June 21, 2000) was an outfielder and pinch hitter in Major League Baseball who played nine seasons, in 1941–1942 and 1948–1954, for the Pittsburgh Pirates, New York Yankees, Washington Senators, and Chicago White Sox. He broke in with Pittsburgh in 1941, leading the National League with 10 pinch hits that year, and missed seasons to military service during World War II. After returning, he placed second in the American League with 13 triples for Washington in 1948. He was traded to the White Sox in December 1950 and finished his career there as a pinch hitter, retiring in 1954. A left-handed batter, he played all three outfield positions and was used in the infield as well. Over 773 games he compiled a .268 batting average with 547 hits, 32 home runs, and 260 runs batted in.
