Elden LeRoy Auker (September 21, 1910 – August 4, 2006) was a right-handed pitcher who played in Major League Baseball from 1933 to 1942 for the Detroit Tigers, Boston Red Sox, and St. Louis Browns. Known for his submarine delivery, Auker grew up in Norcatur, Kansas and attended Kansas State University, where he earned nine varsity letters across baseball, basketball, and football. A multi-sport standout, he was a first-team All-American in baseball and earned All-Big Six Conference honors in all three sports. He chose professional baseball over a contract offer from the Chicago Bears.
