Ernest Melvin Koy Jr. (born October 22, 1942, Bellville, Texas) was a running back in the National Football League. He played college football for the Texas Longhorns from 1962 to 1964, scoring two touchdowns in Texas's upset of top-ranked Alabama in the 1965 Orange Bowl. The New York Giants selected him in the 11th round of the 1965 NFL Draft. Koy came from an athletic family — his father, Ernie Koy Sr., played Major League Baseball and starred at the University of Texas, and his brother Ted Koy also played college football at Texas before an NFL career.
