Félix "The Cat" Mantilla Lamela (July 29, 1934 – January 10, 2025) was a Puerto Rican utility infielder who played 11 seasons in Major League Baseball. Born in Isabela, Puerto Rico, he appeared for the Milwaukee Braves (1956–61), New York Mets (1962), Boston Red Sox (1963–65), and Houston Astros (1966), logging most of his 826 games at second base but also seeing regular time at shortstop, third base, and outfield. He bats and threw right-handed. He is remembered for a low throw in the decisive 1959 NL pennant playoff that allowed Gil Hodges to score the winning run for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
