James "Fly" Williams (born February 18, 1953, in Brownsville, Brooklyn, New York) was a professional basketball player who competed in the American Basketball Association with the Spirits of St. Louis and later played for multiple teams in the Continental Basketball Association. Standing 6 feet 5 inches, Williams came up through New York street basketball circles, where he played alongside figures such as World B. Free and Earl "the Goat" Manigault. He attended Madison High School before moving on to professional play. Williams is noted for scoring 100 points in a single IS8 League game in 1978.
