Frederick Harrison Cook III (born April 15, 1952) played defensive end for the Baltimore Colts from 1974 through 1980. Cook attended Southern Mississippi, where he was among the first African-Americans to play for the football program. He set school records with 68 tackles and 18 sacks as a sophomore, then recorded 19 sacks and 122 tackles in his junior season. A third-team All-American, he appeared in both the Senior Bowl and Blue-Gray games before being selected by Baltimore in the second round of the 1974 draft.
