Fred Willis

Fred Willis (December 9, 1947 – July 4, 2023) was an American professional football player who spent six seasons in the NFL as a running back with the Cincinnati Bengals and Houston Oilers. Willis played college football at Boston College, where he also competed in hockey. Selected by the Bengals in the fourth round of the 1971 NFL Draft, he had previously starred at Kimball Union Academy, where he broke the all-time New England schoolboy scoring record in 1966, surpassing a mark that had stood since 1950.
