Gary Cuozzo

Gary Cuozzo, a quarterback in the National Football League, was born on April 26, 1941, in Montclair, New Jersey. He played college football at the University of Virginia, where he was a multiple-time UPI "Back of the Week" honoree in 1961 and 1962 and graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a 3.68 GPA. Before his football career, Cuozzo earned All-State recognition in both football and basketball at Glen Ridge High School and won individual state titles in discus and shot put in 1959. After his playing days, he became an orthodontist.
