Gary Merle Geiger (April 4, 1937 – April 24, 1996) was an American major league outfielder born in Sand Ridge, Illinois. He played for the Cleveland Indians, Boston Red Sox, Atlanta Braves, and Houston Astros from 1958 to 1970. Originally signed by the St. Louis Cardinals as an amateur free agent in 1954, Cleveland drafted him from the Cardinals' Rochester farm club in 1957. A career .246 hitter with 77 home runs and 283 RBI, Geiger was a notable base runner, ranking among the American League leaders in stolen bases in 1959, 1961, and 1962. He is one of three Red Sox players to hit an inside-the-park grand slam at Fenway Park, accomplishing the feat in 1961.
