Gary David Kurt (born March 9, 1947, in Kitchener, Ontario) is a retired professional ice hockey goaltender. He developed in the Ontario Hockey Association with the Kitchener Rangers before spending two seasons with the Omaha Knights of the Central Hockey League. After two seasons with the Cleveland Barons in the AHL, Kurt reached the NHL with the California Golden Seals in 1971–72, initially playing for their affiliate Baltimore Clippers before being called up in January 1972 to serve as backup to Gilles Meloche. He then joined the new World Hockey Association, spending two seasons with the New York Raiders/Golden Blades/Jersey Knights franchise.
