Gennadiy Dmitrievich Tsygankov (August 16, 1947 – February 16, 2006) was a Soviet ice hockey defenceman and coach. He began playing in 1962 with SKA Khabarovsk and joined CSKA Moscow in 1969, remaining there until 1979 before a final season with SKA Leningrad. With CSKA he won eight Soviet titles and eight European Champions Cup titles. Internationally he won two Olympic gold medals (1972 and 1976), was a six-time World Champion, and a four-time European champion. He appeared 91 times for the USSR national team, scoring 10 goals. After his playing career he coached at the CSKA Moscow sports school and later served as head coach of SKA Sverdlovsk.
