George Stone

George Robert (September 3, 1876 – January 3, 1945) was a professional baseball player. He was born in Lost Nation, Iowa. He stood 5'9" and weighed 175 pounds, batting and throwing left-handed. He played in the major leagues from 1903 through 1910, primarily with the St. Louis Browns in the AL. His broader professional career spanned 1901 to 1912. He appears on E92 Nadja Caramels and T206 White Border. He died on January 3, 1945 in Clinton, Iowa. He is buried at Coleridge Cemetery in Coleridge, Nebraska.
