Ginger Beaumont (July 23, 1876 – April 10, 1956) was born Clarence Howeth and hailed from Rochester, Wisconsin. At 5-foot-8 and 190 pounds, he batted left-handed and threw right. He played in the major leagues from 1899 through 1910, an 11-season run, spending most of his career with the Boston Braves of the National League. His broader professional career stretched from 1898 to 1911, bracketing his major-league years on both ends. To collectors, he is known from his appearance on T206 White Border. He died April 10, 1956 in Burlington, Wisconsin and is interred at Rochester Cemetery in Rochester, Wisconsin.
