Glenn McDonald

Dossier

Glenn McDonald (born March 18, 1952) is an American forward who played three seasons in the NBA for the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks, averaging 4.2 points over 146 games. He is best remembered for his performance in Game 5 of the 1976 NBA Finals, scoring eight points in the third overtime period as Boston defeated Phoenix 128–126 on the way to a six-game championship. After Boston cut him following the title, Don Nelson signed him in Milwaukee to cover for an injured Fred Carter; he was released once Carter returned. McDonald later played in Sweden with Alvik BK and in the Philippines with the U/Tex Wranglers.
