Greg Barton

Greg Lee Barton (July 14, 1946 – August 26, 2019) was an American football quarterback who played in the National Football League for the Detroit Lions before being traded to the Philadelphia Eagles in January 1971. He played college football at Tulsa and earlier led the Long Beach Vikings to the 1964 junior college national championship. Barton also spent two seasons in the Canadian Football League with the Toronto Argonauts, where he served as part of a quarterbacking tandem with Joe Theismann, and later played in the World Football League for the Portland Storm.
