Greg Pipes

Greg Pipes (August 4, 1946 – October 15, 2021) was a defensive tackle who played five seasons in the Canadian Football League with the Edmonton Eskimos from 1968 to 1972. A Baylor University graduate, he earned All-America honors in 1967 before being selected by the Buffalo Bills of the NFL. Pipes found his career in Canada, where his standout 1970 season earned him all-star recognition and the DeMarco-Becket Memorial Trophy as the best lineman in the Western Division. After retiring, he returned to Baylor for a law degree and spent 35 years with the Tarrant County District Attorney's office.
