Guy Morriss

Guy Morriss (May 13, 1951 – September 5, 2022) was an NFL offensive lineman who played college football at Texas Christian University before being selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round of the 1973 NFL Draft. Converted from guard to center as a rookie, Morriss spent 11 seasons in Philadelphia (1973–1983) and four with the New England Patriots (1984–1987), appearing in more than 200 regular season games. He started at center for the Eagles in Super Bowl XV. After his playing career, Morriss coached at the college level, serving as head coach at Kentucky (2001–2002) and Baylor (2003–2007).
