Ham Hyatt (November 1, 1884 – September 11, 1963) was born Robert Hamilton and hailed from Buncombe County, North Carolina. At 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds, he batted left-handed and threw right. He played in the major leagues from 1909 through 1918, a 9-season run, spending most of his career with the Pittsburgh Pirates of the National League. His broader professional career stretched from 1907 to 1923, bracketing his major-league years on both ends. To collectors, he is known from his appearance on E90-2 Pittsburgh American Caramel. He died September 11, 1963 in Liberty Lake, Washington and is interred at Holy Cross Cemetery in Spokane, Washington.
