Hank Edwards (January 29, 1919 – June 22, 1988) was an outfielder who played eleven Major League Baseball seasons between 1941 and 1953. A left-handed batter, he spent his first seven seasons with the Cleveland Indians before playing for the Chicago Cubs, Brooklyn Dodgers, Cincinnati Reds, Chicago White Sox, and St. Louis Browns. In 1946 with Cleveland he led the American League with 16 triples while batting .301. His career was marked by frequent injuries, including a broken ankle, a fractured collarbone, and a dislocated shoulder, which limited his playing time. Over his career he appeared in 735 games and batted .280, with 613 hits, 116 doubles, 41 triples, 51 home runs, and 276 runs batted in. He died in Anaheim, California, at age 69.
