Happy Smith

Happy Smith, given name Henry Joseph (July 14, 1883 – February 26, 1961). He was born in Coquille, Oregon and died in San Jose, California. He stood 6 feet 0 inches and weighed 185 pounds. He batted left-handed and threw right-handed. His major league career consisted of the 1910 season alone, primarily with the Brooklyn Robins of the National League. His full professional career, including the minor leagues, ran from 1906 through 1914. His card presence in this catalog is on the T206 White Border tobacco issue, distributed by the American Tobacco Company between 1909 and 1911. He is interred at Oak Hill Memorial Park in San Jose, California.
