Harry Donald Lord (March 8, 1882 – August 9, 1948). A native of Porter, Maine, he died in Westbrook, Maine. Listed at 165 pounds, batted left-handed and threw right. He worked the major leagues from 1907 through 1915, spending the bulk of his career with the Chicago White Sox of the American League. His professional career stretched from 1906 to 1917, bracketing his big-league time with seasons in the minors at both ends. He also took the reins as a major-league manager during the 1915 season.
