Harry William Walker (October 22, 1918 – August 8, 1999), nicknamed "Harry the Hat," was a center fielder who played in Major League Baseball from 1940 to 1955 for the St. Louis Cardinals, Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago Cubs, and Cincinnati Reds. A two-time All-Star, he won two World Series titles with St. Louis and claimed the 1947 National League batting title. Walker served with the 65th Infantry Division during 1944–1945, earning a Bronze Star and Purple Heart. After his playing career he managed three major league clubs between 1955 and 1972. He was born in Pascagoula, Mississippi, into a baseball family that included his father Ewart "Dixie" Walker and brother Fred "Dixie" Walker.
