Heikki "Hexi" Riihiranta (born October 4, 1948, Helsinki, Finland) is a retired professional ice hockey defenseman who competed in Finland's SM-liiga and the World Hockey Association. Originally a forward with Helsinki club HIFK, he was converted to defense by player-coach Carl Brewer. One of the first Finnish players to move to North America, Riihiranta spent three seasons with the Winnipeg Jets and won the Avco World Trophy with them in 1976. He was inducted into the Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame in 1991.
